Care for Jewish pregnant woman-national differences
Primich, Xeniya ; Hájek, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Šimonová, Daniela (referee)
The work deals with a summary of complete care for a Jewish pregnant woman, starting with prenatal care and ending with childbirth. In the theoretical part, Judaism is briefly discussed, the main aspects that are important for understanding the text are explained. There is also a brief overview of the history of Jewish obstetrics, in which a midwife played an irreplaceable role. Today's Judaism includes various directions that have evolved from rabbinic Judaism. The main part of my work is devoted to obstetrics in Israel, the current situation and specifics. An integral part of the Jewish world are the Orthodox groups, which follow the laws most strictly, so they may have special needs during their stay in the maternity hospital. In the Czech Republic, these groups belong to minorities. Within her competencies, the midwife should look for ways to make the stay in the maternity hospital more pleasant for patients from these groups. This would lead to a deeper understanding of the person concerned and improved care. Keywords: Jewish birth family habits, Jewish childbirth, Jewish laws, midwifery in Israel, Orthodox Jews, Jewish cultural differences

Obdržálková, Zita ; Soukup, Václav (advisor) ; Soukup, Martin (referee)
This thesis deals with problems of biological and cultural determinants influencing perception of beauty.
